Similarities: By Carlos Oyarce
About the School
Colegio Nacional and Colegio San Viator are different schools and they are alike in some ways,
for example, they are both for boys and girls, also they are both day schools. Also they are similar in that they both teach english but I think San Viator school is better on that. None of them publish how many students they have, and none of them publish how they incorporate technology.
Also Colegio Nacional and Colegio San Viator are both private schools.
Deportive Activities and Academies
Both schools have similar activities, they both play basketball, volleyball and table tennis, they also both have choire as an artistic activity, and they both have football, basketball courts.
My Opinion:
Colegio Nacional has scouts and also both schools have tennis, we don't have those things, and I think they'd be funny, also they are both for boys and girls our school is just for boys. They have food and funny things, different from our.
Differences: By Lucas Leiva
Deportive Activities and Academies
Colegio San Viator is more religious than Colegio Nacional, also Colegio Nacional has an Sports Park but Colegio San Viator doesn`t, in Colegio Nacional they have Scouts whilst Colegio San Viator has not Scouts. Colegio Nacional has dancing and tennis class and chess activities. Colegio San Viator has fishing and folklore activities, also they have instrument class like: Drums, Piano and Guitar.
English Classes and PSU.
Sr Alfredo Calderon told us that in his school (Colegio San Viator), speaking English was more important than in Colegio Nacional.
Colegio Nacional don`t publish the PSU results but in Colegio San Viator they publish it:
The best results are 809,5 - 774 - 721,5 - 716,5 - 707,5 - 704,5.
Location
Another difference is that they schools are in different locations and regions, Colegio Nacional is in Ovalle and Colegio San Viator is in Villa Alemana.
Lucas's Opinion:
I think that the two schools are good because they have more similarities than differences so it would be sort of the same thing, and they have some academies that our school doesn`t have that are fun so you will not be so bored
